Farming Tour

The farming tour is a great opportunity to see the Osa Peninsula from a different perspective. Get involved in all different steps of making cheese from the very beginning of milking the cows. Feed peacocks and geese, interact with horses, and discover the intriguing seasonal fruits of Central America. Many people, including indigenous and ethnic groups, live in the region and depend on nature for agriculture, clothing and traditional medicines. Most live in the villages, but an important portion of residents rely on the rainforest’s natural bounty for food, shelter and their livelihoods. Have the chance to visit a wooden house of indigenous people and learn about their culture.
